The encounter transaction report is a comprehensive report that gives current details of transactions encounter wise. Details like Total and Remaining charges, Current claim date and level, Claim and Posting details etc are also displayed

This report shows the charges created and also the encounters posted within the given accounting date period.

 

1. To view the Encounter Transaction Report, click on the Reports Central module and choose Detailed Encounter Line Activities Report to open the corresponding screen.

 

 

2. In the Acct. Date From box, enter the date of service from which the details should be displayed.  Similarly in the To box, enter the date up to which details should be displayed.

You can also search using the Date of Service (DOS From and To) option.

 

The Calculate Date As box provides options to quickly select preset time periods as the search parameter instead of entering the dates manually. For e.g. Week To Date, Month To Date, Quarter To Date, Year To Date etc.

3. To view details for a particular patient, type the first three letters of the name in the Patient box and from the list that appears, choose the required patient.

4. After entering all the necessary parameters, click the Search button, the Detailed Encounter  Line Activities Report will be displayed as shown in the image above.

5. To view/print this report in pdf format, Click the pdf icon. To view or print this report in Microsoft Excel format, click on the excel icon, the report will be displayed as shown below.
